Continuing Education for Health Care Professionals

National Medical Education is an independent provider of continuing education for health professionals in radiology, respiratory, laboratory, nursing and dental fields. Online Courses

When registered for an online course, you receive a username and password to log into our website ("virtual university"). When you begin a FLASH course, a new browser opens up and takes you, page by page, through the course, with the option of playing the audio, or reading the content. Following every section, a few multiple-choice questions appear, and the end of the course is followed with a test (a score of 70% is needed to pass, and three chances are given). Once the test is passed a certificate is automatically populated and appears on your screen, ready for you to print. Students can log in and out of the course as many times as needed. It is not required to complete the entire course in one sitting. PDF courses are downloadable PDF's with the course content, and do not include quizzes.

Correspondence Courses

Ordered course(s) will be mailed to the provided address. Scantron form will be included, and must be filled out and mailed back to National Medical Education (all pertinent information is included with package). NME grades the test, and mails back a certificate within three to five business days.
